You Have the Ability to Go Beyond!
“At some time, often when we least expect it, we all have to face overwhelming challenges. When the unthinkable happens, the lighthouse is hope. Once we find it, we must cling to it with absolute determination. When we have hope, we discover powers within ourselves we may have never known- the power to make sacrifices, to endure, to heal, and to love. Once we choose hope, everything is possible.” – Christopher Reeve
Meet Our Team
Taking the first step towards a more fulfilling life is hard. A strong therapeutic relationship is among the most important factors in achieving lasting change. I view the therapeutic process as a safe and confidential process in which my clients and I work together to foster personal growth and increase self-awareness. My practice utilizes a collaborative approach to draw in those closest to you and most important in your recovery process.
My work is done through a systemic approach, understanding each client’s past experiences and how these lived experiences have shaped them into the person they are today. By understanding the history and evolution of maladaptive thoughts and behaviors we are able to work together to build upon coping skills to live a more fulfilled life. Trust and safety are valued and respected. Evidenced based techniques such as CBT, DBT, and ACT are incorporated into the therapeutic approach.
